He has continued as a partner in the practice and our satellite practice Lakeland Veterinary Care in Stoughton. In 2010, Dr. Heder established a new company, Lakeland Veterinary Imaging LLC, and began to devote more of his professional time to advanced imaging procedures. Lakeland Veterinary Imaging currently provides mobile ultrasound and CT imaging to veterinary patients throughout southern Wisconsin.

Dr. Heder and his wife, Debbie, have two children. Brianne followed in her dad’s footsteps and graduated from veterinary school in 2014 - she practices in Green Bay, WI. The Heder’s son, Malachi, is a chemical engineer working and living in White Bear Lake, MN. Both Brianne and Malachi are now married to truly wonderful people.

Dan and Deb currently spend their free time waiting for grandchildren and fixing their cabin in northern Wisconsin. Dr. Heder enjoys fishing muskies in the northwoods and chasing pheasants and grouse with his Wire-haired Pointing Griffons, Bocephus and Willie.
